Medical Action Myanmar

People in Myanmar have very limited access to medical aid and health services. Medical Action Myanmar (MAM), founded and lead by Dr Frank Smithius (former director of Medicin Sans Frontiers Myanmar), is a charity which provides medical treatment and preventative education to some of the countries poorest communities. MAM focuses on reducing the spread of HIV by treating the most vulnerable in society: children under five years of age, pregnant women and people infected with HIV.
