A collaboration with photographer Alison Palmer, The Footballer’s celebrates the U.K’s number one female participation sport. A series of portraits of 11 of England Women’s Senior Football Squad shot between 2009 and 2012 the project charts the transition of the female game from amateur to professional in the U.K. Each image gives an insight into the player’s story and reveals what makes these women the high achieving athletes that they are.
